David Troughton was an actor who was the son of Patrick Troughton, who played as the second Doctor in Doctor Who. david also played King Peladon in the third Doctor story, The Curse of Peladon. Besides starring in some of the BBV video and audio stories, he has sometimes appeared in the Big Finish audio series of Doctor Who.
